NEW ADULT HOSPICE FOR NORTHERN IRELAND HOSPICE

Design of a new adult hospice for NI Hospice creating a purpose built facility capable of meeting the current and future needs of palliative care in Northern Ireland. Consarc were architects for the project which links to and compliments the original historic hospice building. The new adult hospice includes an in-patient unit, a day hospice for out-patients, supporting facilities including physiotherapy and complimentary therapy, offices for medical staff, education facilities, administration offices, and a public café which integrates the facility within the community. The result is a high quality piece of architecture which meets the physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs of patients, their family and friends.
