Conversion of Grade A listed Ulster Bank and neighbouring Grade A listed bank buildings. The first phase saw the restoration and conversion of the two buildings to create a luxurious and grand 24 bedroom hotel with dining hall, bar and night club in the former bank vaults. The launch of the Hotel proved to be an immediate success due to the opulence of the architecture and quality of service, giving the confidence to move on with the second phase. The Art Deco style new-build extension provided a new landmark building in a city centre Conservation Area. The program for the new build was complex and included a wide variety of spaces including large public areas, a further 37 bedrooms, spa and health club, private rooms, roof-top gardens and service core.
